“From my very first compositions in the late 1990s, the scope of one’s voice has always naturally come into sync with the scope of one’s faith. At the time, Polyphonic a cappella writing seemed to be a space for “chemically” pure experimentation. A space of freedom where all spiritual, harmonic, and poetic projections could be defined and refined. However, the spiritual breath that stimulates the creative process has a will of its own, and I wanted to serve it without resisting it. With all the writing, composing, formatting, fixing, and developing ideas… let’s just say I didn’t master much. At best, I learned to surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit, learning to let myself go in the direction of favorable winds. As a culmination of this, I find it difficult to explain the radiant breath of life that passed through me when, in the heart of the summer of 2025, in a blaze of extreme light, a kind of polyphonic Menorah rose up. I welcomed Icons like a musical candelabra placed at the crossroads between peace and vertigo, past and future, and Heaven and earth. Where immeasurable and indescribable Love springs forth.”
